Accepted sizes and categories:

We accept baby girls’ and boys’ clothing from newborns to 18 months (size 55 to 86) in the following categories: 

• T-shirts and Tops 
• Leggings and Pants 
• Jeans 
• Dresses 
• Shorts 
• Knitwear 
• Pullover 

We currently do not take the following categories: 

• Bodys & One-piece & Pajamas
• Outerwear, such as jacket, vests, raincoats and mud pants 
• Non-clothing items, such as shoes, toys, books 

Accepted brands:

We welcome all your favorite brands. While we do not want to limit the possibility of reusing, we do not accept and payout for white label brands and supermarket brands (clothing sold by Kik, Aldi, Penny, Lidl, NKD, Real, etc) such as the following:

Accepted conditions:

While we love giving clothes a second (and third…) life, we guarantee clothing that have been gently-used and well-cared to the next families. Because of this, we thoroughly check each item. We payout for clothes that are in good secondhand condition. 

Of course, some premium brands are well-loved for their durability. For these items, we will honor a payout for “well worn” items on a case-by-case basis. We will not be able to give you cash or store credit for “well worn” clothing from fast fashion brands. You are welcome to donate them to Spared (along with qualified items to sell). We will find ways for them to be enjoyed by others, upcycle or donate appropriately so they don’t end up in landfill.

The following condition is not qualified for a payout: 

• Clothes without labels or a size (or with labels that are not clearly readable)
• Clothes with children’s name written on 
• Clothes with stains, tears, pilling, holes, broken zippers, or are noticeably worn out 
• Clothes with printing of a certain label such as a sport team, a location

Minimum: 10 items
Maximum: 10 kg of clothing 

Reuse any box or packaging you have at home. You can choose the carrier that is most convenient for you. 

We will subside your shipping based on the weight of the package you are sending in, regardless of the choice of your carrier. We pay a flat fee of 5.99€ for your shipping. For package below 2KG, we pay a flat fee of 3.79€. (See shipping rates from Hermes or DHL)

We notify you via email once your clothes arrive at Spared. We thoroughly check your clothes, from small but important details like seams, zippers, and buttons to the more obvious things like cleanliness and brightness of color.  

We evaluate a payout offer for you based on the brand, condition and category.   

Within two weeks of receiving your clothes, we will send you a payout offer for your clothes via email. 

Once you accept our offer, we will transfer you the payment via the payment method you specified in the Online Form within 3 business days.  

We are confident that with normal wear and proper care, most clothes should be well enough to be accepted and passed on to others.  

Some well-worn clothes are not suitable for re-sale and we will not be able to give you cash or store credit for these items. We will donate appropriately or upcycle, so that your clothes continue to help others and they don't end up in landfill. 

However, if you want your items returned to you, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your final payout offer.   

We want our sellers to be happy with our service and offering. If you are not satisfied with our offer, you can have all your clothes returned to you. You will be responsible for paying the return shipping and your original shipping fee will not be reimbursed. 

When this happens, it costs you and us additional time and resource. Please read and understand our acceptance criteria before sending your clothes to us. 

We source good quality, branded clothes that have been gently used and well-cared from parents. We follow a strict inspecting, curating and packing process. Our promise to you: we will never sell items we wouldn’t be happy dressing our own babies in!  

We want to serve new moms first because they have to buy clothes more frequently to
accommodate the growth of their babies over the first 18 months. Over time, we plan to expand our range of selection so more parents can benefit from the convenience of our service.  

Our mission is to save parents' money and time, while reducing fashion waste.

The way we do this is by making it easier to reuse clothes from brands that are popular and loved by parents, and prolonging the life of these clothes. The sad fact is, if we were to only carry premium, luxury, and conscious brands, there wouldn't be too many clothes we could make available for parents to reuse easily.  

Spared has big plans for the future. We will develop content over time that equips our
community with more knowledge, tools, and ideas about shopping sustainably.   

We are committed to ensuring your shopping experience with us is fun and easy. 

If for any reason you are not happy with your bundle order, we offer return within
14 days after receipt. Simply email us at flo@spared.de, and we will do the rest.  

We do not accept return for a single item from the bundle order. You can always sell the items you no longer need back to us.
